These works appear as agents of the body, mediators of language, slipping into the world around us, each seeking to carve a place. They always remain close to our familiar world of objects and the body of the self but loosen the language of fixed meaning, where word and image jostle for dominance, each swerving from the other. They work along the borders and limits of knowledge and signs of the real.”
